周囲の自然、動物、日光や、それがないことも含めて、それらは私の心だけでなく、その時に制作している作品にも影響を与える。 太陽、風、雨または雪は、屋外で作業中の木材にその痕跡を残す。
作品のキャラクターのアイデアは、過去の人生、夢、潜在意識からやって来る。 偶然の一致も、最初から大きな役割を果たす。 私は、髪の毛、まつげ、馬の尾、または寿命の終わりにやって来て死んでしまった動物の一部など、あらゆる種類の天然素材を収集し、それらを一緒に私の木彫として結合させるのが好きだ。 一部の作品は、陶器、ブロンズ、ガラス、銀、または古い鉄の部品で構成されている。
私は物語作家であり、自分の作品によって普遍的な哀愁のタッチでファンタジーの世界を創造している。

Surrounding nature, animals, sunlight or lack of it makes influence not only to my mind, but also to the work that is taking its shape at the time. The sun, wind, rain or snow leave their own marks on wood while working outdoors. Ideas for characters come from the past life, dreams and subconscious. Coincidences play a great role in the beginning as well. I like to gather all kind of natural material like hair, eyelashes, pony tail or parts of dead animals that have come to the end of their lives and combine them together to my wooden figures. Some works are made up of ceramics, bronze, glass, silver or old iron parts. I am a story teller and with my works I create a fantasy world with just a touch of universal melancholy.
